The answer is C
A and B are out of scope .
D is irrelevant
Between E and C
C is the answer .
Let us analyse these two choices .
E there is a shift in focus from troubled personal lives to the action actors as being iconoclast .This resulted in the actors influence .
C talks about that the citations in movies ,songs and books is fair measure of the actor's influence .if it is not so the conclusion that actors with troubled personal lives influence culture more falls apart.
