Re: Adaptive quant only or verbal only with gmat club's package? [#permalink]
Thanks for the replies, I purchased them, I think they're a definetely worthy good source of questions.

One thing I've noticed is that the tests are not very adaptive, I got a bunch of 600 level at start, with a few 700, and then a series of 700, with a few 600, despite not answering most of the 700 correctly (I'd say about half of them correctly) ending up in Q31... Any thoughts? Is it deliberately throwing 700 questions? I'm sure the MGMAT CATs are more adaptive, they range from 300-500 up top 700 throughout the whole quant.

They could be more adaptive; however, you will improve either way. Also, use the questions as more of a learning exercise to better understand the concepts. I started with the 500, then 600, and finally 700 level questions. I found this strategy very successful.

Yes, obviously one starts with the 500, then 600 etc, I'm more like 600-700 level, but sometimes when you get a few wrong 600, the CAT lowers the level even more.
