Hi Guys,

Anyone can suggest me some preparation guidance for ISB Hyderabad, India? I am a working professional with 5 years of experience. I dont want to leave my job and do the preparation. is it possible to continue both job & preparation?

Hi buddy,

Getting into b-school is a journey that starts with gmat prep and ends with your interview.

Now, you really need to be very committed and dedicated during this journey, if i generalize it , you need 2/3 hours of prep on daily basis and 5/6 hours on weekends for your gmat for 3 months ( again it depends at what stage of prep you are etc, i am giving you an idea about the average time required)

and believe me your first few days might disturb you with additional work of gmat, but you would soon settle and get used to it, so do not worry.. action time now

wow. what makes you think everyone around here has quit their job to prepare for GMAT or apply to a b-school.

and you do seriously expect someone else to study for you, write the GMAT, prepare all your essays, get your recommenders to write letters for you. how about someone else gets the MBA and not you?

PS: perhaps i have misunderstood and if that's the case, you are most welcome to reword your query and be more specific.

Hi Sanjuro9,

I think you misunderstood my words. I did not write that someone should study for me or write GMAT for me. Since, I am just thinking about GMAT and I am not very certain if it is possible to manage job and study both, so there must be some persons, who will be doing that and I just wanted their guidance how they started.

at the end, if you can not write something fruitful for someone,then just dont waste time, dont write bad or negative.

Whatever you do, just do not quit your job just to prepare for GMAT. Schools do not take that positively. While you will be at School, you will be doing a lot of cases, interviews, test preparation. The rigour just goes up from here. Do not DO NOT DO NOT Quit your job :)
