Here's a few others which should be helpful.

If you're committed and have your CBS e-mail, etc. set up, you can access the alumni database:

http://www.gsb.columbia.edu/alumni/studentsearch

CBS Event Calendar, this shows a lot of the events going on around campus this year. Very impressive:

http://www4.gsb.columbia.edu/events

Schedule of classes (many have syllabi):

http://www4.gsb.columbia.edu/courses?&m ... av.catalog

http://www2.gsb.columbia.edu/students/c ... index.html

I'm going to wait on this one.
As per CBS we are better off if HR already knows that we are planning to leave shortly, as Kroll contacts HR for salary info etc.
I haven't told them yet, still need a few more pay checks

I can't login yet either. Hopefully it'll be up in the next week or two. As praz mentioned, they will be contacting both your HR and your recommenders.

Does everyone know where they plan to live yet? I can't seem to make up my mind. I'll probably attend the Admitted Students weekend in April and then make a decision.

According to Christina on the BW forums, Kroll checks will be open starting next Monday, January 18th.

I'm getting very excited about attending lately! It hadn't sunk in until recently.

Is anyone else planning to apply for Columbia's housing? I'm going to apply and see what I get. If I like it, I'll accept it. If I don't like it, I may consider living in the UWS, Midtown West, or even Downtown. I've met several CBS students that live Downtown near the 1 train and it doesn't seem to be too bad of a commute.

I can also offer my pad if you don't mind rodents

Hey everyone, congrats! I look forward to meeting you all. Regarding the Admitted Students weekend, do any of you know if they will be holding one in April again as they have in the past? Not only are the Feb dates tough for me, but I figure if I'm going to fly out for a weekend, I might as well do it when the weather is nice .

This is my thought process too. I would assume there will be one in April too -- several people will be admitted in the months of February, March, and April in the Regular Decision round... so the one in April should also theoretically have the most people present.
