GMAT Advanced Questions Book Directory - 300 Questions

$28 on Amazon 336 Pages Published on 9/24/2019 We have run an analysis of the GMAC's latest book and the questions that have been published and found a few interesting facts. For one, 152 of the questions are new and never seen before and have never been posted or discussed on the internet. Additional 42 questions are "gems" - that means they have been posted or discussed but long since forgotten since they were posted as a part of 1000 series or obscure sources and never attributed their origin. They are like gems or diamonds in the rough - newly discovered and unearthed! (consider them new too). The remaining about 100 questions are from the GMAT Paper tests and earlier versions of the Official Guides. In terms of difficulty, you can see that INDEED many questions are actually hard and difficult. There are are a few odd and easy ones here and there, but only a handful. I also did a bit of analysis of the OA's and found some interesting patterns:
I am sure it is a pure co-incidence but it seems that DS really favors "A" as the answer choice and CR favors the "Bs" Just an interesting observation....

carcass Love you. Just quick questions

1) Is there any provision from attaching the links of the questions
2) Can we create a search tag GMAT Advanced Official ,It would be much easier to navigate through. Please pardon me if it has been created and I am not aware of.

Excellent analysis, carcass.

LoneSurvivor, we do have a tag. It is called "GMAT Advanced."

If I were you, I would refrain from deriving any information of significance from this source. WHile A in DS might have some merit, statistically both A & B has equal probability of being right.

THe questions are very limited and any generalisation drawn from these will not hold true for the GMAT database.

Great work Carcass with the directory..
But may be, the analysis could lead many into wrong set up of mind. May be, if you add a disclaimer in the beginning that it is for just fun and should not be taken seriously, it would be better.

Good work with compilation.

Some disclaimers should be attached along following lines. That the analyses and evaluation criteria may be subjective and not based on representative samples and that the evaluation criteria are also subjective.

People should not assume based on these analyses that they should be picking the above answer choices.

If you could post the links that aren't working or quote the posts and highlight the links then that would be much better at indicating the problem.

The OG link redirects you to the product page of GMAT Official Guide 2020 on amazon.com
If that's what you are looking for, then you could visit the same via Amazon app/website.

In case you were looking for something else - perhaps Qs posted in the forum from OG, that requires a bit of work:

Go to forum → Choose Quant or Verbal (as per your need) → Choose the subforum you wish to visit [Quant has the subforums PS/DS/IR while Verbal has SC/RC/CR/AWA] → In the subforums there will be a list of Qs listed with each having a source mentioned, click on the source: Official Guide/OG and it will sort all the OG questions belonging to that subforum.

This is going to come in SUPER handy for a resit. Looking to boost past 730.

By very hard? how would people equate these, surely they cant be harder than the hard OG ones? or are these a level up?

ALso maybe worth purchasing for the GMAT software functionality to do them as tests?

One may instead just copy the question stem and search in Google chrome...nd the first link i a gmatclub question link...No other steps needed :P
