hi...

following issues need to be looked into..
1) the clause "the ability of......outpaced" requires a verb HAS to go with initial part of the sentence.
2) FOR can be used as a CONJUNCTION meaning because and with a COMMA prior to it
3) The second clause/dependent clause here requires because/for/since as it introduces a clause thereafter
4) Because of is best followed by NOUN.. I was late because of a party.

the above issues lead us to choice B

B

Good reasoning, but one small point: because is a conjunction, but because of is a preposition. So, we'll look for a noun or equivalent after because of.

Perfect. Same for due to (needs a noun, and options A and D do in fact have only a noun after because of and due to).

Option E also has ability... for generating information, which is unidiomatic.

B for me.

A doesn't have a verb in the dependent part.
C I think because needs a verb and Due to needs a noun after it, so wrong.
D i think due to should have followed a verb.
E ability for, wrong idiom, although i don't know about the "has been"

Both B & E seems correct except for these differ only in meaning aspect. While "Far" has been omitted in option E, it is rightly depicting the urgency to raise major security concerns- in "B".
I would go with "B".
