Why is D incorrect? The tagline in the ad is "Shouldn't you own XYZ?" What if there is some other vehicle that is a better indicator of success? The tagline won't make sense in that case

Sure, but our job is not to prove the tagline, especially since it is only a question. This is an inference question, so our job is to believe the claims and see which answer they make correct. We don't know that this car is the only one that sends the signal in question. Besides, even if it were the only car that signaled "dynamic, aggressive, and successful," there might be many cars that just signaled "successful."
