Today's customers expect high quality. Every advance in the quality of manufactured products raises customer expectations. The company that is satisfied with the current quality of its products will soon find that its customers are not. At MegaCorp, meeting or exceeding customer expectations is our goal.

Which of the following must be true on the basis of the statements in the advertisement above?

(A) MegaCorp's competitors will succeed in attracting customers only if those competitors adopt MegaCorp's goal as their own.

(B) A company that does not correctly anticipate the expectations of its customers is certain to fail in advancing the quality of its products.

I would go for C. My reason is as follows:

A) The competitors are different from Megacorp...since no mention is given about the competitors it cant be made sure that adapting megacorps goal will help them succeed.

B) is wrong because there is no mention on the quality of the product

C) is correct becoz customer expectation is increasing and these expectations increase with advancement in quality. Since Megacorps goal is to meet or exceed expectations, the co will be able to achieve its goal will only be possible if continuing advances in product quality are possible

D) is wrong because the statmenet is drawing a relationship between the cos perception of the quality of its products and its products future quality

E) is wrong becoz it is not specifically mentioned that the cos customers are happy with the quality

The only purpose why i make an effort to reason out my answer is, as even Gayatri had mentioned, that it only reinforced your concepts and enables u to reason out why a particular answer is right and why the others are wrong. This only builts more confidence as one progresses.
