Hi.
I am supposed to take the exam in 8 days.
today i have taken the sample
mgmat test and got
630(34v, 43q).
does anyone have any intake about how well the test reflects the actual
level?
I want to score over 715.
I can take one week off from work to study for this, but i am not sure i will
be able to get 75 points higher in one week.
advice, anyone?
Hello,
With given information of
MGMAT mock, i would say that
1) In general, verbal of
MGMAT is relatively easy, and V-34 in your mock (if this has been consistent over a series of 3/4 tests) is a concern (considering the assumption that you are targeting 720+).
2) Quant of
MGMAT is very similar to what one actually encounters at real GMAT, I have seen the most similarities in the Quant scores of
MGMAT and real GMAT, here your Quant is 43. If this 43 is trend of your performance in last 3/4 tests, it is a concern (considering you want to score 720)
I am trying to give you a realistic picture since you have shown readiness to reschedule.
If we talk about growing from 630 to 720 in a few days, this is probably possible when your fundamentals are crystal clear and you are struggling with time management, else it is very difficult (for any applicant) to improve the score from 630 to 720 in short time.
Have you taken GMAT prep, if not, take the same and see how you are doing with the test
Above all, the decision to reschedule also depends on when are you applying and to which schools ?, if you think you have time, you can play safe to reschedule.
Hope this helps
