Hi Kira.
very interesting question and it was useful for me, as for non navite speaker.
let me share my findings
First of all, let's clarify the difference between dispose and dispose of
dispose means to expose, arrange
dispose of - one of the meaning is get rid of something, utilize something (that is the meaning required in our sentence)

A) anyone disposing of or servicing (the right form is dispose of )
B) those who dispose or service (changes the meaning, disposing it self is not dangerous and there is no need in chloroflouro carbons)
C) anyone disposing of or who services (parallelism prob.)
D) the disposal or repair of (lack of subject)
E) someone who disposes or repairs (b prob + someone who is redundant)

good luck

I couldn't follow the question, how is A correct - it isn't parallel. Besides, what's wrong with B?

Also, what's the source of this question?

Thanks,
PM

I got this one wrong. Pick D instead of A. I guess if there verb was not "Capture" then i could be right. Correct?

For B: those who dispose or service (Those is inappropriate modifier in my opinion)

Tough question, fortunately I got it right. I didn't get it right because I knew the correct grammar rules, instead it was because I was trying to understand what the author was saying

1. Anyone disposing of or servicing
2. Those who dispose or service.

Statement 1 is talking about the actual action (disposing/servicing). Statement 2 is referring to the people that perform those jobs.
