Afternoon GMAT or morning GMAT [#permalink]

I have heard that it is better to take the GMAT in the morning when your mind is most fresh.

I have also heard that its best to have an afternoon session so that your mind has plenty of time to wake up and you can even get in a few warm up problems before the exam.

Does anyone know which is correct or do you think the time at which you take your test is not really relevant.

Thanks

The time that is best for taking the GMAT is entirely up to you.

I got a afternoon date and I'm not complaining. In any case, the timing of your GMAT should have minimal reflection in your scores!! I belive if you're well prepare you can kick GMAT ass even at 2 AM!

I have heard that you should take it when you are used to studying for it. Makes sense, but not necc. But you know your body and mind...Go with the time you know you will do your best.

replying to a very old post ..
I preferred afternoon timing as getting to the testing center by 7 am with an hr commute and staying fresh would have been too much for me! I am a nocturnal.. so the preference is entirely up to you based on what sort of person you are..
