I don't think your GPA can be a threat in the application. Moreover, no one can do anything to improve your GPA now, just need to craft a good story around it to show your application. 730 would be a decent score if you planning to apply for the top 20 B schools across the globe. But the NYU stern would be a bit tough situation assuming you want to work in investment banking post-MBA(considering your GPA). The reason is that in Top B schools, some of the organization looks into pre academics while recruiting students. Your EC's will surely help to draw the attention of schools to get a positive response for getting to admit.
