Let F= cost/pound of 3rd fuel type
Let x= amount of each fuel in the mixture
126x+135x+F*2x=153*4x=612x
612x-126x-135x=F*2x
351x=F*2x
175.5=F

Letting n = the price per pound of the third variety of fuel, we can create the following equation:

(126x + 135x + n(2x)) / (4x) = 153

261x + 2nx = 612x

261 + 2n = 612

2n = 351

n = 175.5

Answer: C
