My choice is B.

It makes the meaning of the sentence more clear.

It is E because of the verb broadcast that follows.

(C) for me.

(A) and (D) are not agree with the verb "broadcast". (B) and (E) are wordy

(A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks
too wordy and rings wrong at the bold part
(B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major networks
something wrong at the bold part - also, the argument suggests that similar broadcasts have been made, not a future possibility(as in this option).
(C) superficial if the three major networks all
same reason as above (latter part)
(D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks (not appropriate)
(E) superficial, as when the three major networks each
This one is for me!

My pick is C.

(A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks
- s/b broadcasts if this choice is used

(B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major networks
- "as can sometimes occur" is redundant of "can be superficial"

(D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks

(E) superficial, as when the three major networks each
- shoudn't this read "each of the three major networks"? is it unidiomatic to have "each" at the end?

It is E. According to the 'rules' when each follows the subject, the verb is supposed to agree with the subject as to whether it is singular or plural. In other cases such as A when each is before the subject, verb is always singular

agree with trulyblessed

this question is testing subject verb agreement

'each' has to go with 'broadcasts'

therefore only C is correct

Stay away from IF clause.

IF is very tightly used in GMAT.

If X happens, Y will happen.

What this means is that If X happens, an outcome, then Y will definetly happen.

If you apply it here, C is WRONG....

E fits well...

You are right Ritesh

from: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=each

When each follows a plural subject, however, the verb and subsequent pronouns remain in the plural: The apartments each have their own private entrances (not has its own private entrance).

Good info, guys. Initially thought E was wrong because of improper tense format but now, seems like E shud be it.
