b/w A and C, I choose A.

A maintains the parallelism. 'among the only...that have.., and among the only...that have...'. This is the simplest way to choose A.

The problem with C is that it uses 'to have' instead of 'that have'. 'to have' subtly changes the meaning. 'that have' is necessary to refer to the 'seven countries in the world'.

'to have' construction can seem to state that India is only one to have launched the satellites among the seven countries. This is not right. All the seven countries (including India) has sent satellites into space.

Knowing that E is the answer, I am able to see the reasoning..

It still mantains parallelism and should be read as

India is AMONG the ten most industrialized nations, the seven countries that have been the only ones to launch their own earth satellites, and the three countries that have the largest pools of technically trained persons.
