for average speed you need total distance travelled and total time taken..

stat1: relative distance given.. not suff

stat2: speed of the bullet is given.. not suff

given that one bullet will travel just 1 sec more than the other(for 600ft extra) , is it not safe to assume that a the same air-powered rifle will not be firing bullets at different speeds.
Even if it does, with slightly different speeds, still the average speed can more or less be constant.
The point I am trying to make here is, such problems always needs us to make some assumptions(else the answer will always be E), there are too many factors/conditions that can be considered.
