Q1. Understand the question. It says that assuming any increase of 5% of more in food consumption in B is due to import, select yes if the food mentioned was imported to B.

1. Logical, A didn't exist 500-600 ADs so no.
2. Consumption of meat more than doubled in B. Also mentioned in passage that there are only A,B,C existing. B imported meat from A for trade barter. C didn't hunt, it imported meat. Hence, Yes.
2. We see grain consumption increased from 10% to 15%. A didn't exist in this period. C grew crops majorly. Hence, yes.

----------------------------------------

Q2. Read carefully: statement is supported separately by:
(A) passage AND (B) tables
While all statements and supported by passage, none are supported with tables (no info in tables).

-----------------------------------------

Q3. Given in passage: B population in 1000 ADs = 400
Given in table, avg meat consumption of 1 fam of 4 people= 160 lbs
Hence, if 4 people avg --> 160 lbs
Then, 400 people avg --> 16000 lbs

Meat Consumption in Barras (AD 1000s)

1. Population of Barras

The passage states that Barras had an average population of 400 residents during the AD 1000s.
2. Monthly Meat Consumption Per Person

According to the table, each household in Barras (consisting of 4 people) consumed 160
pounds of meat per month. To find the per-person consumption:

\[
\frac{160 \text{ pounds}}{4 \text{ people}} = 40 \text{ pounds per person}
\]

3. Total Monthly Meat Consumption for Barras

To calculate the total meat consumption for the entire population, multiply the per-person
consumption by the total number of residents:
40 pounds/person/month x 400 people = 16, 000 pounds per month.

Conclusion:
The average monthly meat consumption for all residents of Barras in the AD 1000s was 16,000
pounds, corresponding to option C.
