Assuming X pounds of Food A and Y pounds of Food B.
We have two variables X and Y and two equations per below:

X + Y = 50----------------------------------(1)
0.30X + 0.1Y = 11 => 3X + Y = 110-----(2)

Subtract (2) from (1)
3X + Y - (X + Y) = 110 - 50 => 3X + Y -X - Y = 60 => 2X = 60 => X = 30
Answer B

If question was how many pounds of Food B is consumed.
Answer will be per below

Put value of X in equation (1)
Y = 50 - X = 50 - 30 = 20
