2.
Ann: All the campers at Camp Winnehatchee go to Tri-Cities High School
Bill: That’s not true. Some Tri-Cities students are campers at Camp Lakemont.
Bill’s answer can be best explained on the assumption that he has interpreted Ann’s remark to mean that
(A) most of the campers at Camp Lakemont come from high schools other than Tri-Cities
(B) most Tri-Cities High School students are campers at Camp Winnehatchee
(C) some Tri-Cities High School students have withdrawn from Camp Lakemont
(D) all Tri-Cities High School students have withdrawn from Camp Lakemont
(E) only campers at Camp Winnehatchee are students at Tri-Cities High School

Guys, somehow E does not see right. If the question, as Bill understood was -"only campers at Camp Winnehatchee are students at Tri-Cities High School?" - then his argument should be - "No some campers in Lake Winnehatchee are from school XYZ"...

But seems like he understood Ann's question to be either -
All the students from Tri-cities are campers at Lake Winnehatchee.
OR
None of the Tri-cities students camp anywhere else including Camp Lakemont...

And so responded back with - "That’s not true. Some Tri-Cities students are campers at Camp Lakemont. "

And so I don't find a right answer and closest is D for me. Please explain where am I mis-understanding...

E is the answer.

But how can you reject B.

B) most Tri-Cities High School students are campers at Camp Winnehatchee
This means that some Tri-Cities High School students are not campers at Camp Winnehatchee. Hence, there is plenty of room for Bill to say that some Tri-Cities students are campers at Camp Lakemont. Why would he then say that "it is not true" as for what Ann says? B is wrong. Only if he understood Ann's argument as Tri-Cities High School includes only Camp Winnehatchee students will his reply then hold

D is not right. There is nothing in Ann's claim that even hints to campers at Camp Lakemont...
