Only volunteer experiences: some tutoring for 10-12 year old at risk students for a local non-profit, but I am considering joining an organization called BolderOptions which pairs at risk children with a mentor with the goal of competing in various sporting events as a mentor/mentee team.
I'm looking for an MBA to prepare me for a second career in business development and/or corporate finance. Tuck is the most appealing to me of the elite for location and teamwork philosophy reasons. The CEO of my company is an alum as well, if that helps me at all. HBS appeals as well, but mostly because of the "wow" factor.
Do I stand a good shot at Tuck?? HBS?? My backup plan was to attend UMN-Carlson part-time while continuing to work for Eaton, and they would pay all tuition expenses.
Thanks ahead for all responses.
You have a competitive profile for Tuck and HBS. Your goals are also approapriate for those schools. Obviously you need to articulate more clearly why you want to attend those schools, but you are aiming appropriately.

recent visit to Tuck
Good luck!
