hi, my name is adhithya.I have been prepaing for gmat since last 2 months.I recently gave my

first gmatprep and got a modest 650(q-46,v-34).I really need to improve in verbal.
1)My main issue in verbal at present is CR.Although,I have finished powescore and found the

tips to be extremely efective, somehow I tend to get confused with two/three choices in the

end, which increases my time (my avg time for A/s/w questions is around 2.5 mins).please

sugget someting to improve my timing in cr
2)how much time should one spend on prephrasing an answer in CR
3)ALso,I wish to know whether gmatclub tests would be effective in improving my timing
and are they actually representative of the true gmat
4)what kind of a score in gmatclub test is representative of a good score in actual gmat

I think if you keep practicing additional CR questions, timing for prephrasing and also completing the question improves significantly. The ideal time to spend is about 2 minutes, so you are on the right path - use additional material such as MGMAT CR etc to get that required practice.

On GMAT Club tests, from what I've heard, they are advanced level questions and not adaptive. If you are scoring over 45 on quant, they would be a good resource to take it to the next level. Below is a thread that discusses correlation with actual GMAT.
