A = 1/2 B * H

Double Area = 2A
Half base = 1/2 B

New area(NA) : NA= 2A = 1/2 * 1/2B * H
NA = A = 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2B * H
NA = 1/4 * A

% increase = ( (NA - A)/A ) * 100% = 300%

b = base
h = old height
H = new height

┬╜(b/2)(H) = bh .... double the original area
┬╝H = h
H = 4h

Increase in the height = NewHeight - OldHeight
= 4h - h = 3h => 300% of h

Dammit!

I chose C because I didn't read the question right!

There's no excuse for this stuff-- If I can increase my speed, I'll have time to double check these things...
