Area of the Interior angles of Rectangle ? [#permalink]

I have got a basic question in Interior angles of rectangle

( see attached picture)

Each corner of a rectangle has 90degree..when you draw diagonal in the rectangle..what is the splitted angle ?

Please check the properties of quadrilaterals. I am sure something like these go...

1) The diagonals of a parallelogram and thereby a rectangle are not respective angular bisectors.
2) The diagonals of a rhombus and thereby a square are respective angular bisectors.

Based on the above two principles, I don't think it's possible to come up with the two angles x and y, as portrayed in your attachment.

Only few things can be said about these diagonals and angles(X and Y).
a) Diagonals will bisect each other.
b) Length of the diagonals will be equal.
c) Angles are the function of Length and breadth of the rectangle.
Tan(Y) = Length of rectangle/ Breadth of rectangle.
Tan(X) = Breadth of rectangle/ Length of rectangle.
d) Angles are complementary >>> x + Y = 90.
