Arguments against using children as courtroom witnesses are often predicated on the unproved assumption that children’s memories are more malleable and less trustworthy than adults.

The memories of the children are compare to the memories of the adults,

wrong comparison, memories are compared to the adults
Better than the first option but still wrong because memories is plural and 'that' here is singular.
Correct comparison
wrong comparison between memories and adults.

Hi,

Suppose if option B is as ---- that of adults , Option D is as -- those of adults

Which one is better for this question ???

'Memories' is plural and therefore the singular 'that' cannot refer to the plural memories in the context.
