1. 'Their cells' vs 'its cells'

=> An animal (singular) should have a singular pronoun 'its'
Eliminate options A and D

2. seeming vs seemingly

=> seemingly (adverb) limitless(adj) option (noun)....(correct) -->Adverb (seemingly) should modify adjective (limitless)
Eliminate option B and D

3. In option C , the idiom is range from..and..
=>The correct idiom is range from x to Y

[highlight]Option E is the answer

The sentence is referring to one animal, hence the use of pronoun their would be incorrect. We can eliminate A and D accordingly.

A) their cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of
- As stated above.

B) its cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range of
- Seeming is a verb. Seeming cannot describe limitless as it is not an adjective.

C) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range from
- Range from is incorrect in this context. Range of is preferred.

D) their cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range from
- As stated in A.

E) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of
- CORRECT. Seemingly correctly modifies limitless and range of is used. The sentence is perfect.

A) their cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of
-- S-V agreement error

B) its cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range of
-- limitless is adjective and should be modified by an adverb, not another adjective.

C) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range from
-- range from is incorrect, should be range of.

D) their cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range from
-- S-V agreement error

E) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of
-- Correct: right S-V agreement and range of usage.

thier v/s its
since the subject is singular (an animal) we have to use its instead of their
Eliminate choice A and D

seeming v/s seemingly
Seemingly is an adverb and seeming is an adjective. limitless is an adjective. Here we'll have to use seemingly to modify the adjective limitless. Hence Eliminate choice B

Of v/s for
Here the for is an incorrect preposition. Therefore choice C is wrong.

E is the correct answer

As an animal develops from a fertilized egg into an embryo, their cells may diversity into a seemingly limitless range of types and tissues, from tusks to feather to brains.

POE:
Stop sign- underline after the comma, check for the modifier.
Wrong usage; 'their' is modifying 'an animal'
Elimiate (A) & (D) - Modifier error.
Eliminate (D) - change of meaning
Eliminate (B) - 'seeming limitless' is wrong.

A) their cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of

B) its cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range of

C) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range from

D) their cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range from

E) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of - CORRECT

B) its cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range of - 'seeming' should be replaced by seemingly. Adjective error. Incorrect.

C) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range from - 'from' should be 'of' instead. Of types and tissues ( then from comes after that). Incorrect.

D) their cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range from - 'their'. SV error. Incorrect.

E) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of - 'its'. 'seemingly'. Correct.

As an animal develops from a fertilized egg into an embryo, their cells may diversity into a seemingly limitless range of types and tissues, from tusks to feather to brains.

Quote:
A) their cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of
- pronoun error: "their" refer to a singular antecedent "an animal"

Quote:
B) its cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range of
- "seemingly limitless range" ("seemingly" (ADVERB) modifies "limitless" (ADJECTIVE)) bears different meaning than "seeming .. range" ("seeming" (ADJECTIVE) modifies "range" (NOUN))

Quote:
C) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range from
- "range of types and tissues" works much better.

Quote:
D) their cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range from
- pronoun error, same as in A

Quote:
E) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of
- Correct choice

IMO E

A) their cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of

B) its cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range of

C) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range from

D) their cells may diversify into a seeming limitless range from

E) its cells may diversify into a seemingly limitless range of

Firsty it should be range of as the range is given in the next line i.e
from tusks to feather to brains.

So B and E remain

In E seemingly as an adverb modifies limitless where seeming in B modifies range hence E is correct over B.
