The OA is C!
In this sentence we cannot use as because we are comapring the nations airports with new yorks airports - noun with a noun.

Just remember...

<b>As</b> is used when comparing clauses.

<b>Like</b> is used when comparing nouns.

...and C is the shortest answer

that is actually totally untrue...

Like is used to compare nouns, as is used to compare actions, phrases, adjectives, adverbs...

like is used to present an idea of similarity to but not exact...as is used to list exactness...
