Post MBA goal- Want to explore options in & out energy sector.
Considering my profile & low GMAT score, are there any good schools to target for R1?
Thanks in advance
Hi and thanks for reaching out!
Given your post MBA goal, I am assuming you are mostly interested in business schools that specialize in the energy sector somehow?
If so, consider the following:
Texas A&M – MaysRice (a bit borderline but could be possible)
Price (Oklahoma)
Your dream school would be McCombs I guess, but that would take a crazy good essay and recommendations or a better GMAT score, so just putting it out there. Fuqua would also be a good option, but is also out of reach at the moment.
Additionally there are some Canadian business schools that have a specialization in energy so you might want to do some research on those as well.
If you’ve only taken the GMAT twice you should really consider a retake as well, however, as a higher score would really make a difference in this case, I think.
But if you decide against that, feel free to contact
ARINGO directly on our website if you want help with the application part. (Not sure you are aware of it but low GMAT applicants are our specialty!)
Good luck!
JL
