At a youth soccer game in a certain town, 2/3 of the spectators are residents of the town and the rest are visitors from out-of-town. If 3/4 of the spectators who are residents of the town are close relatives of players in the game, how many of the town-resident spectators are not close relatives of players in the game?

(1) There are 1,380 spectators at the game.

using 1 we can calculate 2/3 value and then 3/4 of that value

using 2 we know 1/3 value and we can calcuate 2/3 and then 3/4 of that value

I) let resident=2x/3
Non resident=x/3

Resident who are close relative= (2/3)*(3/4) x= x/2

Statements in I and iI both gives us the value of x

So answer is D
