Below 7th: 58%
Below 9th: = below 7th Grade+ 7th Grade +8th Grade = 70%

i.e. 7th Graders + 8th graders = 70-58 = 12%

Given, 12% of students = 60

Total Students 100% = (60/12)*100 = 500

Answer: Option D

At the only school in Koala City, 58% of enrolled students are below Grade 7

Let below grade 7 Students be A
Which are 58% of total students.

70% are below Grade 9.

Below Grade 9 = Z which is 70% of total students.
Also, Z = X + Y, where Y = students studying in grade 7 & 8 (12%)

If the number of students below Grade 9 is 60 students more than the number of students below Grade 7,
Z = 60+X
Also Z = X + Y
60+X = X+Y
60 = Y

Where Y = 12% of Total.
12% = 60, then 100% = 60*100/12 = 500

Answer is D

70% - 58% = 12%
12% = 60 ,so 60/12= 5 so 100% = 100*5=500
