Can you request to meet with someone from the admissions office of a school that you would like to apply to? Do the school's try to accomodate your request? Do they have to? Is this a standard procedure?

They usually love it as it seems to me. Unless they have a lot of work with applications and all that crap, they usually like to show the school and offer you to attend a class, etc.
