(C) baby in four are now born to mothers aged thirty or older, compared to just one in six

I will go with D

baby is singular so use "is" and older is better than more

I think it's D.

1. 'one in four' - correct idiom
2. 'baby is born' - subject verb agreement (one baby is born)
3. 'aged thirty or older' - correct idiom
4. 'compared with' - correct idiom

Will go with (D).

Use "compare to" to point out an abstract or figurative likeness use "compare with" to consider likeness and differences in general.

"older" is prefered over "more" here.
