E - Possessing is wrong. Hence,
D is the right Answer

(B) With bald eagles having straighter-edged ones, golden eagles possess wings that are slightly raised. --> contrast is missing
(C) Whereas bald eagles have straighter-edged ones, with golden eagles possessing wings that are slightly raised. --> not a sentence
(D) Golden eagles possess wings that are slightly raised, whereas bald eagles have straighter-edged ones. --> correct
(E) Golden eagles possessing wings slightly more raised, bald eagles have straighter-edged ones. --> "than" missing in "more ... than"

+D. Only D gives a logical antecedent to 'ones', referring to wings.

(C) Whereas bald eagles have straighter-edged ones, with golden eagles possessing wings that are slightly raised.
(D) Golden eagles possess wings that are slightly raised, whereas bald eagles have straighter-edged ones. --> Correct, compares similar entities
(E) Golden eagles possessing wings slightly more raised, bald eagles have straighter-edged ones.

Hence, D.
