in some ways a lopside score is good easier to raise. Have you gone and review your problem area?? maybe stats fundemental or number properties. You should at this point figure out your holes in knowledge and review for a couple of days

Actually, now I'm confused. The GMATPrep software says "Quantitative-- 37 Questions, 14 incorrect", and "Verbal -- 41 Questions, 7 incorrect"

When I finished it, it told me my score was 640 and then gave the 37 and 41 numbers. But those seem like the number of questions in the exam, not my individual scores.

Can someone explain this to me?

I don't think that's referring to the number of questions, I think your scaled score just coincides with the number of questions.
