This is a sub 600 level question.Lets analyze the errors

A. they are often displayed:Here the word they is ambiguous.Though logically they suggests to ties but if we have an better answer with the noun then we should go for it.

B. ties are often being displayed:No need to use the being in here.

C. the displaying of ties is often:Here a compound gerund is being used as an subject and that makes the sentence awkward and wordy

D. ties are often displayed:perfectly written,no ambiguity and hence the right choice.

E. they often can be found

This question contains pronoun error. They can refer to ties or women. However logically they should refer only to women.
So A and E are out. In B, being is not required. C makes passive. Hence answer is D

A. they are often displayed
B. ties are often being displayed
C. the displaying of ties is often
D. ties are often displayed
E. they often can be found
