Hi all,
I recently took GMAT and managed to score a 720. While I am grateful for this score, I think my Verbal score can be improved further from V36 to V40+. For the same, I am looking for a quality course on Verbal. As I understand, exclusive Verbal course is not offered by two leading course providers
TTP and
EGMAT. Therefore, I have to purchase one of these two courses only. I have read
not so good reviews of EGMAT on reddit therefore, I am really confused between both. I have
budget constraints and
EGMAT has happily offered me a discount on their course fees considering my GMAT score of 720. Please suggest, which course is best between
TTP and
EGMAT for Verbal only?
TTP offers good quant content but I am looking for options in Verbal only. I am confident in my Quant skills and will not need a course for Quant.
Thanks.
HI
walterwhite756,
First of all, congratulations on scoring a 720 and thank you for considering
e-GMAT as one of the options for your score improvement. I want to share a couple of pointers that can act as a framework to make the right decision.
Improving from a V36 to a V40 requires that you identify the weak areas and skill gaps. You must fix these gaps and track the improvement carefully. For this, you don't need to study everything in Verbal from scratch. You must execute a hyper-personalized study plan to address the weak areas.
So, you should choose a course that offers the tools and support system which can help you execute such an improvement plan. And you must evaluate if the course has proven success record in helping people to improve from V36 to V41+. For this, you can do the following -
- Evaluate both the courses and understand how they can help you out in this regard. I believe you have already had a discussion over a zoom meeting with one of our mentors (please let me know if I'm mistaken. If so, we will surely arrange for that zoom meeting) and I believe you already know how you can leverage our Scholaranium quizzing platform to identify your weak areas in Verbal and fix those gaps using the prescribed Application video lessons. And how to track the improvement. You can evaluate TTP in the same way to decide on the right option for you.
- Regarding reviews on Reddit, I'm not sure about these reviews. But, when it comes to course reviews, the best way is to read through the GMAT Club reviews since these are properly verified. When you read GMAT Club reviews, you know these are real people who took GMAT with verified GMAT scores. Other platforms don't have such strict verification.
For your convenience, I'm sharing few latest reviews of such students here -
You can read hundreds of such reviews on
GMAT Club reviews section and on our
YouTube Channel. Feel free to do the same for
TTP as well.
I hope this framework can help you make the right decision.
Do reach out to us if you need any further assistance in this regard.
