This is a really tough sentence

Split 1
There is a comma before the underlined sentence so we should use either participle modifier or use independent clause with FANBOYS
Split 2
We need a noun that denote some action so duplication is correct

Hi experts please shed some light on this sentence and how to to proceed from here .
It would be of great help if you explain the sentence in detail.

Thanks ,
Arvind
