Business Consultant: Some corporations shun the use of executive titles because they fear that the use of titles indicating position in the corporation tends to inhibit communication up and down the corporate hierarchy. Since an executive who uses a title is treated with more respect by outsiders, however, use of a title can facilitate an executiveâ€™s dealings with external businesses. B - wrong, as the goal is to improve communication within. The second bold part doesnot question the effectiveness of the strategy to achieve the goal as the consultant states adopt the compromise of encouraging their executives to use their corporate titles externally but not internally, since even if it is widely known that the corporationâ€™s executives use titles outside their organization, this knowledge does not by itself inhibit communication within the corporation"

I'll go for E through POE.

A. The second is not a drawback. It presents another view.
B. The EFFECTIVENESS? (Out of scope)
C. The SIGNIFICANCE? (Out of scope)
D. The first and second are definitely related to different situations. One is within the organization and the other is outside the organization.
E. All others seem wrong. So E through POE.

To me C sounds very negative in it approach.

A sounds more like a cause and effect.

Ill go with E here too. It is definitely NOT a drawback. The company is simply stating that usage of external titles should be encouraged while using titles should be abolished.

I'll go with A. Anybody has any idea what's the approach to follow for solving Bold Faced reasoning questions? Most of the times I am clueless with BF questions as all the choices seem similar.
