Here's a ridiculous trend about how parents are helping their kids to get internship experience..

Faced with a dismal market for college summer internships, a growing number of anxious parents are pitching in to help -- by buying their kids a foot in the door.

Anyone wish if we can buy MBA internship as well?

Interesting. I wonder if they'll make companies like that for MBA internships? Ugh.

My parents never helped me get an internship. However, I did work for my father's consulting company until he decided to sell it and retire early....and he ended up having to fire me ON MY BIRTHDAY. True story.

Is that the reason behind all the waitlists?

So you're saying that it was the best birthday ever? No but seriously, that's sad

Even in college, I found the concept of paying to work to be pretty strange. I can't imagine myself willingly paying to do that.

Technically, we all paid for internship.

There are those internship for credit programs where you receive college credit ...

But to receive those credits, you have to pay school just as if you are taking a class...
