Couldn't quite believe it that you hadn't reported in by the time I left work...Just reached home & so happy to see your post!!

We'll learn our waitlist/deny status at about 10 am Chicago time I believe, based on last round.

Edit: According to the interview invite, decisions will be released by 9 am.

I just spoke with a friend who is a current student at booth who was accepted last year (not on the waitlist) and he received no phone call nor notification of any kind the day before.

Is it complete wishful thinking to hope this may be a possibility?

i think it is very possible--as i heard similar stories. after all, these aren't robo calls.

You can't apply for either. All applicants are automatically considered for both scholarships and fellowships. Scholarships are awarded upon admission. Fellowships might be awarded later on...

As JerseyGal said, it's not impossible, but I'm not holding out a ton of hope. Some people that got calls late (around 4) today mentioned in the chat that the AdCom said they still had plenty of calls to go so we shall see.

My friend at Booth made a good point. Technically as far as we all are supposed to know (in a world absent GC and BTG) notifications come out tomorrow. They never made a commitment to call acceptees in advance so there could be cases where there are still admits out there. To this point, if they didn't complete all the calls tonight rather, than keeping staff late, and perhaps intertupting people at home/during their commutes home, they may have just called it a night.

I am fully expecting bad news tomorrow but who knows. It's not over til its over. Even if we get WL'd we would still be in the game.

Well, you'll still be invited to go down to Durham then. And then you can be a solo host in Hanover!

Just when you thought the last admit was reported...I got into work this morning to discover a message from Kelly Curtin waiting for me. She didn't say exactly what it was about, but I assume they didn't call me to ding me. Tried to call back just now but it's 9PM in Chicago, so will have to wait until the morning there to call back. Feeling incredibly pumped!

Man, I feel so emotionally drained right now.

Cheetarah, LRW, scorpionz, congrats. Definitely expected it for all three of you. My stats buddy, Consulting2Finance, and I, will learn of our fate tomorrow morning. I'm not too hopeful about this or about my prospects at Wharton, but I refuse to be a defeatist.

Hello212, do NOT feel defeated. You WILL get in at Wharton. I have faith. This process is crazy and there are no rules for ir.

But trust me, I have a lot of faith in you with Wharton. Sometimes, Booth reject REALLY top notch applicants because they are worried about their yield. My interviewer told me that point blank. So with your 760 gmat, they thought you might end up at HBS or Wharton and reject them.

Just my 02 cents, I might be wrong.

Message was left at 10:30PM China time, which would translate to 9:30AM in Chicago I believe (they're on Daylight Savings Time now right?)

Solidarity my friend. At least you have CBS to fall back on. Plus when we both cash in Wharton this will seem like a bad dream.
