If you've been in IB for 6 years, does that mean you're already a couple of years in at the associate level? I could see them thinking EMBA was a better fit if you're already past the level that banks recruit at for the full-time program. That's my best guess, anyway. If I actually knew what adcoms were thinking, I wouldn't be posting on this board and instead would be making a mint as an admissions consultant.

Yes that is correct, I am a senior associate and will be promoted soon to vice president. However, I am looking to do a career change to PE (i know surprising right). Therefore, I would like the summer internship opportunity to try this career field and even though i am higher up in the IB world i have been promoted early to associate and will be promoted early to VP. I mean if 27 is the EMBA route whats MBA 24/25???

Still waiting. Four weeks complete.

Complete 3/26

Looking at last year's chain, there was some activity the week after Columbia Connect II. Hoping to hear something Wednesday/Thursday of this week... let us know if you hear something!

When does J-term app come out?

Hi all,

Just got waitlisted at CBS. Nice timing...as my Stern deposit was due today. Took them exactly 5 weeks to get back to me after I went complete. Anyone have suggestions on what I can do to pursue the waitlist? Thanks in advance!

Same here. It seems like a lot of waitlists and dings thus far. No accepts for quite a while.

Already submitted deposit for another school too. I call it my $2,000 gamble.

I think the Round II deposit date is May 1.

I hope im wrong but I don't think we are going to see any admits before may 1. Quite the opposite, I think they are putting people on wait list after they recieved deposits from people with the same profile.

Sigh. I have two deposits due on May 1. I really hope to hear from them before then. I went complete 3/29 so I was really hoping for a decision this week.

Do they release decisions on a Friday? I just noticed that most decisions seem to be released mid-week.

Contact the admissions team. They can look into your application and give you an indication before May 1.

I just called to inquire about the status of my application as I have been complete for over 1 month. They said they should get back to me soon and within 1 hour I was put on the waitlist. Curious what would have happened if I didn't call...

I just received my "decision" a few minutes ago and I was placed on the waitlist. My interviewer submitted his evaluation on 3/28.
