Reposting because I was buried in a wall of text.

I saw one person has heard from USC. Is that all? Is there still hope?

Congrats to all the admits. I'm still waiting for Darden and HBS. Tuck one of my top choices took for ever to decline me. If accepted to Darden I'll probably decline to focus on round one next year and try to raise my GMAT quant score. Of course an HBS admit means automatic enrollment. I will not do Consortium next year as I feel the app. Limits the full range of story telling.

Your GMAT already looks pretty good in my opinion! If I were you, I would probably just take a couple of summer math classes and get A's in them.

Yea your GMAT score is not the issue, I don't know why you will turn down UVA, it has a good MBA program which is highly respected among recruiters. They are also extremely generous when it comes to scholarships.

My overall score is good but my math split is I think the 43rd percentile and that obviously sticks out. I may take some math classes.

I interviewed on Feb 27. USC called me on Mar 2 to notify me that I got accepted. They still might be rolling out acceptances though, the final notification date is April 1.

I agree w/ others on your GMAT. Regardless of your split a 720 is high enough to be competitive at all these schools. With the possible exception of Wharton, which has a bit of a reputation for taking higher GMAT scores solely to boost numbers, a higher GMAT score won't do anything to strengthen your app. Getting some summer math classes would probably be much more helpful, especially if you can ace them and boost your GPA.

What I don't understand is why you would choose to apply to a school that you have 0 intention of enrolling in, especially considering that the school is a top 15, sometimes top 10 school. Did something happen during your interview that made you realize you wouldn't fit in at Darden? The program is only a small step down from Harvard, Wharton, and Tuck. Some would even argue it is as strong as Tuck, especially if you want to work in the south. Darden is definitely going to give you as many opportunities as any of the other places you applied to.

I did on Friday that stated I didn't get the fellowship from them, but that I was awarded other scholarship money.

I got waitlisted at USC, but then decided to withdraw from the waitlist since I got into UCLA (did not apply to UCLA through the Consortium). The Assistant Dean of USC mentioned that they are reviewing those on the waitlist on a rolling basis.

I haven't heard anything from McCombs, but people w/ Consortium fellowships were hearing from Darden as of last Wednesday. Both of them have deadlines around the end of March
