I have not, but I think it's because they are waiting on my ding (or possible acceptance?) from McCombs. The Consortium said that we would not hear until all schools have reported.

Not sure why you haven't heard though? Looks like all of your schools have gotten back to you... I'd reach out to them if I were you?

Best of luck!

BTW: Are you headed to Duke or UCLA???

So what other school are we waiting for now? McCombs was releasing today.

Has anyone gotten instructions on how to book trip to OP?

Slightly unrelated, but has anyone heard from MLT about decisions? I know apps aren't due until the 5th, but they say it's rolling and I submitted my app a couple weeks ago and haven't heard anything. Their first meeting is on April 22 in NYC so seems slightly inconvenient to have us purchase plane tickets with such short notice if we get accepted :(

I got the instructions in my mailed acceptance letter. Consortium is paying for food and lodging (rooming you with someone of the same gender) and will pay for up to $300 for airfare, but it has to be booked by the designated agency.

Yeah, it was weird. It took until today to get the "official" acceptance from Anderson. They have to put your app through the UCLA graduate division for approval. So I guess I should hear from the Consortium soon.

Learning towards UCLA. You?

I haven't either. Tomorrow is 3 weeks for me. I got accepted to McCombs yesterday so I sent them an email this morning asking if they wanted me to send acceptance proof. Using that email as a quasi status update.

Also a bit unrelated, but curious to know how many people were considering the Toigo MBA Catapult event coming up in May?

I know the network is excellent (if you become a fellow) but with all the travel, expenses and deadlines coming up quickly, I wonder if anyone else is weighing the pros and cons like I am.

I am going as well and think the network (and potential small fellowship) is worth the cost of attending. But I think it also depends on what your post-MBA goals are. For example, if you're looking into IB, you could walk away from Catapult with a pre-MBA offer, which would definitely make it worth it even if you don't become a fellow.

Thank you both for your input. In my mind I know there really isn't any real legitimate reason not to attend. But as a pessimist I do take note that I haven’t seen/heard of anyone not getting invited to catapult after the prescreening.

That said, I’m trying to factor in all the expenses (deposits, travel etc…) & the time commitment (while still employed full time) and I was curious to know if anyone else was wavering as well.

Also, I am looking to pursue asset management, specifically buy side research which has an atypical recruitment process. While I’m sure the contacts at Catapult wouldn’t hurt, I’m not sure they’d be entirely material to my internship hunt either. But I could be wrong. I will probably end up finding a way to go, but it’s always helpful to get other viewpoints.

Earlier this year I was looking forward to attending OP too.

Although I was admitted to the Consortium, I will not be attending a partner school.

Does anyone know if we get the deposit back after getting a full consortium scholarship? Probably not, but I figured I'd ask.

Yes you get the deposit back once you enroll, since the deposit is used towards tuition. That's what UNC told me anyway.
