pelihu,
nah, I was an R1 waitlist.

Oh, cool. I wonder what that says about those of us in R3 (weaker than expected I guess). Definitely a very tough year at Berkeley.

yeah, all the best, buddy. Berkeley is so small that it's definitely tough to get in. I feel like I sneaked by.

It's weird though--I was pretty confident I'd get off the Chicago waitlist but get nothing from Berkeley. And things worked out exactly the opposite.

i'm also in! Got a call from admission officer in the middle of my honeymoon. Great news, even though Darden is pushing with a full tuition scholarship...[/quote]

Nope,

I would have loved it, but I guess my wife wouldn't be so happy if I'd interrupt my honeymoon to visit Berkeley.

Have fun and please tell me how was it!

I was just picked up from an R2 waitlist :) Long wait, but I'm happy as hell anyway.

Man, I definitely owe you an oil tanker of beer!!! Remember that "Haas slain in 1 week" title I was suggesting? Well, IT WORKED! :))) I can't believe it, really.

Not sure yet - it's really late, so I'm not sure if I can secure a loan and get a visa in time. But I'll try my best :)

good luck! let me know if you have any questions. I took a loan, but I did not have to apply for a visa.
