Hi everyone,
Just got back from the interview... here's my review...
The staff is very friendly and puts you at ease so I wasn't nervous at all.
She first asked me to walk through my resume in 5-10 mins, I think I probably took about 15-20 mins but it's ok since I connected how my experience relates to Haas's emphasis on leading through innovation.
After that, she asked about my goals and why I need a MBA now to get there.
Once that was over, she asked about my personal side, hobbies and interests... I probably took 5 mins talking about my volunteering since that's the one thing that I was most passionate about but I also layered in other hobbies.
By the time I was done with that, the 30 mins was already over, but she said it was ok and allowed me to ask her questions. I probably took another 5 mins asking her about the Doing Business in China class and connecting it to the international appeal of Haas. Then asked about next steps and also how to start a club as a student.
For next steps, she told me that 2-4 members of the Admission Committee will be review the application and make a decision. She didn't provide any specific timeline so I guess I'll just march toward the Apr 2 timeframe.
By the time I got out of the interview, I had a pretty good feeling, so I guess I'm feeling satisify. Now it's all in the hands of the Admission Committee.
Keeping my fingers crossed!
Good luck to everyone!
