Wow, that was quick, Congrats!

I'm a bit confused, I thought Booth doesn't have rolling admissions or Early Decision, or am I missing something?

Jeez! I'm perplexed! :? If you got the interview invite, then why were you allotted such a late date when the decision date is December 06? May I ask if you have you applied for the Full time MBA program, or for the Executive MBA or any other program?

Hello all - applying R1 to Booth and have been working through its application. However, I realized today that I can't view Booth's essays on the application portal. The rest of the application is available, I just don't see the prompts or text box as part of any of their sections.

Is anyone else having that problem? Is there something I need to do first for the essays to become available?

Hey gmatpercher

I am applying in R2 but I have not had the issue you mention while working on my application.

Good luck! I thought schools don't review applications until after the deadline?

And why is there such a gap between now and December? Don't they have to announce acceptances in early December? I thought Booth carries out interviews October, November.

Honestly, I think they look at the application on an on going process. I had submitted my application but emailed them to resubmit my resume and I believe that once I got my second recommendation, I got the interview with a couple days later. It was interesting and I thought that the application wasnt going to be reviewed until the deadline. My interview was initially scheduled for December but was able to get a Friday in October to accomadate my schedule. So overall, take with a grain of salt or maybe it is the way they do things.

Has anyone here tried going on the campus visit? What's the Lunch with Current Students like? Is that a facilitated event where students are going to talk to the visitors or is it up to the visitors to talk to students?

I shall let you know after October 5th. The plan for my day is to sit during a class from 9-11, interview at 11 with lunch after that with students or faculty.

Visited in the Spring, assuming they haven't changed the system since then. They had two students split us up and lead us on a tour around the building, then we went to a separate room with sandwiches/chips/cookies and sat with a student at one of several round tables. There were about 5 visitors for every student.

Question for your fine folks.

here's what the application states:

Per university policy and in the interest of community safety, we ask that you answer the following question. By answering these questions you are giving consent to collect, store, and maintain the data. If you do not wish to give consent, please do not answer the following questions.

Then it asks if you have ever been convicted of a crime.

Looks like not answering is an option since it says "if you do not wish to give consent, please do not answer the following questions"

I do have a misdemeanor on my record, nothing major, not violent or anything crazy, but it does look bad I think in an otherwise great application, it was also almost a decade ago.

If I have the opportunity to not disclose this and not be penalized, I think I should do it. Then again I absolutely do not want to be considered being dishonest and hiding it, but it appears to me that not answering is an approved option.

Of course not answering also raises a bit of a red flag when reading the app too potentially...

Anyone have thoughts on this?

Guys,

I just submitted my apps, but online it said GMAT Score Report has not been received yet? I sent my GMAT score reports 3 weeks ago from gmat.com?

Maybe I have to wait for them to associate that GMAT report with my application once it's received?

Can anyone clear this up?

Interesting that someone had an interview scheduled very quickly given the latest communication from the school said that interview notifications will go out in mid-October.
