Do we get to know who our interviewer is beforehand? I am trying to figure out if it might be a student, alum, or adcom. On the zoom invite, it says Hidden, Associate Director of Admissions and Scholarships, but I think that was a default invite.

Anyone know if there are multiple LEAD events or just one? Interviewer mentioned that I may hear back about this event but haven't yet.

Their admissions are on a rolling basis so you’ll still be fine if you didn’t interview earlier, you’ll just hear back slightly later.

I could be wrong, it never said it was the only invite but I didn’t mention the possibility of attending another if we couldn’t attend. I saw in reddit post before that someone got invited to LEAD before they actually had their interview - their comment was a bit unclear though so I could’ve misinterpreted what they said but that’s the impression I got from it

I don't think it's a matter of "fair" or "unfair". The folks who they deem potential fellows get invited and the others don't.

I definitely agree with you, I just didn’t know people were getting lead invites who hadn’t interviewed yet. If that’s the case I don’t mind at all.

If that's the case, then that clears it up for me thanks. Honestly, I am not really too hung up on this as admissions is the only real goal for me haha.

How did you receive it? I am planning to apply to Cornell and was looking for app fee waiver.
I have no idea. After I gave my GMAT on 5th October , i received an email, which is likely a marketing email. Post that I attended 1 online event. Then I received the waiver.
