Calling all Harvard MBA Applicants: 2023 Intake Class of 2025

Hi guys, something off topic. Would you recommend working on improving my GMAT score so I can get to Top 15 MBA programs next year, (it’s been a while struggling to pass the 600 margin (Bad on Verbal, second language and not a reader). Or would you recommend starting an MBA program this year on one of the top 30 MBA programs that offers GMAT waiver such as Georgetown, Mendoza, Simon, Scheller? Planning to work on consulting after MBA, career switch from engineering

Hi, I was wondering if there's a specific thread of those had been invited to take the R2 HBS MBA interviews. I finished mine last month and am waiting for the results to be out end of March 2023. I have a pretty unconventional/non-traditional applicant profile and not sure what the competition is like this year. But hoping the best for everyone!

Azoozasw39 I struggled to get over 600 scores on my first two GMAT attempts. I decided to switch to GRE, an exam format that works better for me. You have to personally determine your purpose for taking an MBA. If you want a world-class experience, branding and good networks, the top 15 schools are something you'd have to gun towards. Alternatively, if all you want is a 'general' MBA experience that perhaps has waiver fees for application, then being open to the second-tier schools is great too! I've personally been in this struggle and I spoke to people from tier 1 and tier 2 schools to get different perspectives. Hope this helps! And if there's a will, there's always a way. FYI Verbal component is impt and there are many ways to improve it - either by tuition or by taking loads of practice.
