Hi All,

Has anyone applied by the April 01 deadline for Sept 2018 and heard back on pre-selection?

Does HEC respond irrespective of the pre-selection outcome?

Also, what criteria does HEC consider for excellence scholarships? looks like most people don't get scholarships.

Are there any need-based scholarships also?

I received a pre-selection positive notification a few days ago, but haven't heard anything since about interviewers etc.
I guess they are now trying to match candidates with interviewers that would work geographically and application -wise.

Goldyasaf, when did you apply and when did they acknowledge that your application was complete?

I applied on April 1st, and I believe it was complete by that time.
I now have to send official transcripts directly to HEC.
Have you heard anything from them?

Strange that someone who applied on the 1st of April got intimation before someone who applied on 27 March 2018 :| They have a step to verify if the application is complete and they let you know via e-mail if it will be forwarded for pre-selection.
I got such a mail on 03 April, and meant to ask when did you get an "application is complete, it will be fwded for pre-selection" e-mail?
Or maybe it depends on the region you're applying from.

Tnx! it was actually more of a coffee chat than a proper interview.
We met a cafe in TLV, talked a little bit about his job and what he had done since graduation.
I then presented my 10 mins presentation that dealt with innovation in design as a tool for social mobility. we actually spent almost 2 hours talking about why each of us wanted to do the MBA, why HEC and the whole experience of campus living and networking.
It was a super friendly and positive experience, definitely a genuine way to get to know someone, his/hers motives and aspirations.
I was asked if I applied to other European schools, but he didn't seem to mind my reasons for doing so. We also talked about classes, professors, the great atmosphere between students and how to pursue your career goals.

Hey everyone,
Should the GRE/GMAT official score be reported to the school or can they make an admissions decision based on the unofficial copy?

You need to send the official copy to the school, for your application to be complete

[quote="mm514"]Hey all,

Had my interviews yesterday. I found them to be extremely rigorous, and I have no indication whatsoever whether my interviewers were impressed or not.

Does anyone know the typical acceptance rate after interview? I imagine it must be reasonably high as I'm sure HEC wouldn't waste alumni time with a large set of 'rejectable' candidates.

Anyone else have any stories of their interview experience?

Thanks![/quote
