Got the admission email. Does anyone know the deadlines for written confirmation? and is that just to consider for later or is that a verbal agreeement on definitely paying the fees

If your undergrad is in English, you do not get extra weightage on your application. IMO, it's more like a checklist criterion. DM if you have more doubts about the application.

All the best,

In terms of TOEFL and IELTS for IESE, you do not need to take it if your university was in English:

https://www.iese.edu/faqs/
If we do take that test, does it add any extra weightage to our application?

Can someone here help me understand the application process at IESE? What are the steps post form submission?

Also does it help sending your profile your evaluation on the link on the website?

After you submit your application to their platform, you will receive an email for the KIRA video essays.
You have 48 hours to submit your video responses (3 short questions, 60 seconds to prepare, 90 seconds to answer if I remember correctly).
If you google around a bit, you will find plenty of example questions and how to prepare for this.

After you've done that, your application is up for review and you will receive a response by the corresponding round deadline (invitation to an interview or rejection).
From my experience, the email is sent out on that exact deadline date ("Interview decision by"), so there is no need to stress about not receiving anything sooner.

If you get invited to an interview, you will have to schedule a moment that suits both you and someone from admissions (or alumni).
For this, you normally have like 2-3 weeks before the interview deadline.
Additionally, there can also be an invitation to an assessment day, which will take place in the same period as the interviews.

After all this, a final decision will be made with acceptance, waitlist or rejection.
Hope this clarifies the process a bit for you :)
If you would need any more information, do not hesitate to send me a PM.

Hi, I had a question about the optional essay and the scholarship essay for IESE. I understand the scholarship essay is only considered if you get in + you are considered for a scholarship. In that case, is it ok to repeat some information from the optional essay in the scholarship essay (information focused on the values of the school)? or is it better to have different information? My concern with the second approach is that the things I want to highlight in the scholarship essay would be missed in the evaluation.

Yes. There’s a word limit.
1. Please elaborate on your professional relationship with the candidate providing details on such – the duration of your relationship, nature of projects you worked on, and so on, etc) (100 word limit)
2. How do the candidate’s performance, potential, or personal qualities compare to those of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? Please provide specific examples. (300 words)
3. Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response. (250 words)
