got waitlisted
Hey @randomperson99 , here are some suggested steps to follow post a waitlist:
1. Find the officer in-charge of the WL and connect with them.
2. Write a supporting email to the WL officer in-charge. Include these points:
- How and why you were not able to present your 100% during the application.
- Express that you are still very interested in the program, and how it will be a perfect platform to help you achieve your ST and LT Goals.
- Mention how you have improved over the period, add few work promotions or new awards or achievements.
- Connect with any current students (or alumni) of the program, mention their names and the best things they said about the program.
3. Try to be in touch with the B-school in all possible ways (LinkedIn, email, online events).

Good luck!

is it advisable to reach out to adcom to ask for feedback on application post rejection?
Hey @pyro42 , due to the large no. of applications the Adcom may not be able to provide the feedback on rejected applications but you can try requesting for a feedback in the rejection email. Let them understand your genuine desire to know about "what went wrong."

lionhearted123 - some more details can help assess your profile better:

1. What's the sectional split of the GRE score? And how were your mocks/ target scores i.e. did you expect to score better?
2. Are your employers branded/ big names or boutiques? Have there been promotion(s)?
3. Are you looking only at R3 for Aug intake, or also open to R1 for Jan intake?

Hi all! For potential applicants or incoming students, I made a video on what exactly happened during each period for me 2 years ago (excuse any memory loss 😅) as well as my journey. Sharing it here as it should be relevant!

Hi,
1. It was 157V, 161Q- I expected to score 160+ in both, but I will be retaking it by the end of the month for a better score.
2. It Is a boutique firm and yes I have had an early promotion.
3. I would prefer R3 Aug intake

Thanks! Do let me know the best course.

Hi insead2be , I hope you are doing well. As you have applied on 27Nov., it’s still early, so please don’t worry, applicants often hear back 3-4 weeks after submission. Good luck!

The profile looks promising, however, its hard to comment on its strengths without knowing more details. A score of 318 is quite low for INSEAD for an Indian candidate. Try to increase the score to be taken seriously by INSEAD. INSEAD's Round 3 focuses on scouting high-potential candidates with either very exceptional career trajectories or outstanding test scores.

Best wishes

pyro42 the AdComs do not give individual feedback. In very rare cases, you may meet someone from the office in person to advise you on your chances. However, you can get feedback from alumni and students (or from me) about what may not have gone in your favor and whether it even makes sense to reapply.

What qualifies as international experience? I have worked with multiple international clients, but the discussions were online or they used to travel to India. Will that qualify?

Not a very qualitative experience.

Working abroad is the best one. But there are ways.

They want to see the ability of multi cultural integration in you.

Sometimes how you knit your story of intl exposure helps navigate the issue
